The Ford Center in Oklahoma City will erupt to the cheers and screams of excited spectators and the enthralling music of “She’s Country,” “Wide Open,” “Big Green Tractor” and other hits from “Wide Open.”

Experience the True Jason Aldean with “Wide Open”

Jason Aldean is at the OKC Ford Center after having tasted great success with all his three albums, the last one being “Wide Open.” But more success could come knocking on the multi-platinum rock singer’s doors, with the release of “My Kinda Party,” his fourth album. “Wide Open” has spawned many popular hits that have brought to light Aldean’s prowess.

A native of Macon, Georgia, Jason Aldean moved to Nashville to further his music dreams. His career path and his outlook on life are depicted throughout many “Wide Open” numbers and in the name of the album as well. Aldean considers himself fortunate to have secured the services of Nashville songwriter Neil Thrasher, whose lyrics have made Aldean’s songs worth remembering.

Autobiographical Element of Jason Aldean’s Songs

The title song talks about a woman who manages her job as a waitress and her college education till she makes up something better and more fulfilling to do. “Keep The Girl” reveals the positive and negative effects of pursuing the big time. Aldean identifies his path from Macon to Nashville in the theme of the song. One of the most explosive numbers is “She’s Country,” featuring a strong backbeat and massive guitar sound that’s often been identified with Jason Aldean’s music. Other popular hits from “Wide Open” include “Big Green Tractor,” “This I Gotta See,” “Crazy Town” and “Fast.”

Visit Oklahoma City to watch Jason Aldean at the OKC Ford Center and experience the warm hospitality, comprehensive amenities and comfortable shuttle services offered by the OKC hotels.

As part of the tour, Nashville resident and Macon native Jason Aldean will thrill fans in Oklahoma City on the 28th of October from 7:30 PM at the Ford Center along with Luke Bryan and Thompson Square as special guests.

“Wide Open” – Jason Aldean’s Perspective

As with all albums, Jason Aldean put his heart and soul into “Wide Open.” But there is more of a personal element involved in it, in the sense that its name signifies his philosophy of life. Aldean likes to live flat out, and he believes a lot of the titles in the album depict a situation he can identify himself with. Aldean acknowledges the contribution of songwriter Neil Thrasher whose lyrics have made the hit singles in “Wide Open” worth singing over and over again.

Amazing and Rocking Numbers

Launched at the November 2009 CMA Awards presentation, the hit single “She’s Country” glistens with energy and excitement, convincing Aldean that it would turn out to be simply awesome for a live show, bringing to life Aldean’s trademark sound with big guitars and strong backbeat. “Wide Open,” “Keep the Girl”(co-written by Aldean, Neil Thrasher and Wendell Mobley), “Big Green Tractor,” the tremendous guitar performance “Crazy Town,” “This I Gotta See” and “Don’t Give Up On Me” are some of the other hit numbers from the album.
