The presentation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, “August: Osage County” by Tracy Letts will be held at The Freede Little Theatre in the Civic Centre Music Hall, Oklahoma City, from October 7-10, 2010. The play showcases three sisters in a family in the Midwest who are suddenly affected by the disappearance of their father, leaving a mother addicted to drugs. The sisters have many shady secrets that begin to unravel.
The play has been classified as the Best Play of the Decade Rated R by “Entertainment Weekly” and has won plenty of other awards apart from the Pulitzer Prize, the Drama League, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Tony awards. The play features Stacey Logan, Jonathan Beck Reed, D. Lance Marsh and Michael Jones and is conducted by the Osage County CityRep Theatre Company.
