OKC Philharmonic (Classics) presents “Concerning Heaven and Earth,” a concert by soprano Sari Gruber and conducted by Joel Levine, featuring “Prometheus” Overture by Beethoven, Knoxville: Summer of 1915 by Barber, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.
“Opera” magazine considers Sari Gruber a sensational performer. Her presence and involving performance has brought to light her concert and operatic skills. Her performances have charmed the international stage, and now Oklahoma City gets a chance to witness her magical performance at the OKC Civic Center Music Hall’s Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre at 8 PM on the 5th of February, 2011.
